Return Policy
Hiner Outdoor Living is committed to partnering with you to achieve your home improvement goals.  
If you’re not completely satisfied with your Hiner Outdoor Living purchase, simply return the merchandise to 2785 Steel Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Â
Most new, unused merchandise can be refunded or exchanged with proof of purchase within 90 days of the original purchase date, unless noted in our Return Policy Exceptions. All returns are subject to system approvals.  Â
Returns with a valid proof of purchase will be exchanged, refunded in cash, credited to your account or refunded via in-store credit based on the original method of payment, except as set forth by the following:  Â
- Purchases made with a Hiner Outdoor Living Gift Card, refund card, merchandise card or in-store credit will be refunded as in-store credit.Â
- Purchases made with a debit card will be refunded as cash or credited back to the debit card, which may take up to 15 days.Â
Written copies of Hiner Outdoor Living’s Return Policy will be provided upon request.  Â
Returns Without ReceiptÂ
In most instances, your receipt can be retrieved by using your full name, address, or your phone number. For returns without a valid receipt Hiner Outdoor Living, at its discretion, may issue in-store credit for the item’s current selling price.
Hiner Outdoor Living requires a valid picture ID (state driver’s license, state ID card or military ID) for returns without a valid proof of purchase. Hiner Outdoor Living uses and checks verification systems. ID information or a phone number may be entered into these systems where authorized by law. All returns are subject to system approvals. Hiner Outdoor Living reserves the right to refuse and limit the number of returns permitted without a valid receipt.Â
Return Policy Exceptions
48-Hour Return Policy
- Return must be initiated with Hiner Outdoor Living within 48 hours of delivery or the time of pickup in it's original packaging on the following items:Â Refrigerators, freezers, ranges, fire pits, grills, smokers, furniture.
30-Day Return Policy
The following items must be returned in “like new” condition with proof of purchase within 30 days of purchase or receipt.

Outdoor Power Equipment
Mowers, chainsaws, generators, pressure washers, trimmers, blowers, snow throwers, log splitters, wood chippers, hedge trimmers, edgers, tillers, earth augers and brush cutters must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product and must be unused and in original, unopened, undamaged, factory-sealed packaging. - Pumps
Holiday Items
Must be returned on or before the day of the holiday (e.g., Christmas). Items purchased after the holiday are final sales, and no returns will be accepted.
Nonrefundable Items
- Labor and installation charges
- Delivery and/or HinerOutdoorLiving.com shipping charges (unless due to Hiner Outdoor Living’s error)
- In-store credits, refund cards and merchandise cards
- EPDM Liner
- Live fish
- Special Order
Plants
For replacement or refund, a receipt is required for any aquatic perennial purchased at Hiner Outdoor Living within one year of the original purchase date. All other plants fall under our 90-day return policy.
Hazardous Materials or Products That Contain Lithium Batteries
For safety reasons, items that use or contain flammable liquids, gases or other hazardous materials can’t be returned through the mail, even if the item has been drained of these materials. Please return such items to the Hiner Outdoor Living store. Items containing lithium batteries must also be returned to the Hiner Outdoor Living store.
Problems With Your Order?
Damage Due to Shipping/Delivery, Missing Items, Shipping/Delivery ErrorsÂ
If you receive an order that arrives damaged, incomplete or in need of replacement parts, contact Hiner Outdoor Living customer care at 719-357-5770 within three days of receiving the item to report the error or damage.
Defective ItemsÂ
We will replace the items that correspond to the manufacturer's warranty.

Gift CardsÂ
Lost or stolen Hiner Outdoor Living Gift Cards can only be replaced for the remaining balance by presenting the original receipt.Â
APO/FPOÂ
Army Post Office and Fleet Post Office ship-to addresses aren’t eligible for no-charge pickup.Â
Exclusive RemediesÂ
These remedies are your exclusive remedies. All other remedies are hereby excluded. All warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly excluded. The exclusions herein are subject to, and may be limited by, applicable law, and you may have additional rights that vary from state to state.
